Lucy met Zach through a mutual friend (Nicole, bridesmaid) at UC Davis. Nicole was Zach’s roommate, and Lucy often visited to bake, hang out, watch movies and study for science class. Lucy was also the star rookie on Zach's intramural indoor soccer team. 

However, it was only after Lucy and Zach reconnected at Nicole's wedding that their lifelong friendship began. Spiros (groomsman) likes to claim credit for their relationship - as does Chan-Ho (groomsman) - but actually it was just destiny. 

The relationship started with lunches, musicals, chicken noodle soup (made by Zach!) and dark chocolate chip oatmeal cookies (made by Zach!!), and the rest is....well...history.

Zach: Lucy is one of the kindest, happiest and brightest people I know. I can spend hours just hanging out with her bantering about the topic of the day. Also, she looks great in a bikini :)  I feel like we really fit perfectly together, and she and I will accomplish a lot together.

Lucy: Zach is one of the sweetest and most intelligent people that I know. He won me over by being incredibly caring. I have so much fun with Zach, from cooking dinner together to watching musicals and traveling. He makes me feel beautiful, smart, and loved. I am looking forward to building a lifetime of wonderful memories together.
